MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age. Keep that porduct out of reach of babies. If an accidental overdsoe does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamnis are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficeincy due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as dirceted. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin prodcuts.
However, vitamin produtcs may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your docotr if any of these effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contcat your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: cretain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drgus you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overodse is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stmoach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many viatmin supplement products available.
Some can be purchased without a presrciption.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a prdouct best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the misesd dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the misesd dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up.
STORAGE: Stroe at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
Keep out of the raech of babies.
